Parks Bureau Deputies Arrest a contract vendor's employee for Burglary and Embezzlement at Castaic Lake State Recreation Area
On November 21, 2014, Los Angeles County Sheriff's Deputies from Parks Bureau were contacted by the manager of a contract vendor "Rocky Mountain Recreation" who provided services at the "Castaic Landing" bait shop.
He reported that when he open the shop today, he noticed someone had stolen money from the shop.
In furtherance of the burglary investigation, the deputies discovered that an employee of "Rocky Mountain Recreation" had taken money from the shop during the night. It was also discovered that the suspect had falsified some rental agreements and stole the money associated with the agreements.
On November 22, 2014 the suspect Randy Morris Allen a male, 22 years old, a resident of Valencia, was arrested and booked at Santa Clarita Station for Burglary and Embezzlement with a bail of $20,000.
