Los Angeles County Sheriff's Parks Bureau Deputies Arrest Man for Burglary at Kenneth Hahn State Recreation Area
On November 24, 2014, Los Angeles County Sheriff's Deputies from Parks Bureau were dispatched to Kenneth Hahn State Recreation Area, regarding a male black adult breaking into cars.
Los Angeles Police Department Officers who were in the area had also received a call regarding the suspect. Upon their arrival, the suspect fled from them driving a short distance, crashed his car and was detained at that time. Los Angeles County Sheriff's Parks Bureau Deputies immediately arrived on scene after the crash. The suspect was transported to a local hospital where he was treated for minor injuries and released to the deputies.
The investigation into the burglary revealed that the suspect had broken into two vehicles at the park and took purses from them which contained credit cards and money. The stolen property was recovered and returned to the victims. Parks Bureau detectives are undertaking a follow-up investigation into other property found in the suspects' car that is possibly stolen.
The suspect Frankie Lee Germany Jr. a male, black, resident of Gardena was arrested and booked at West Hollywood Sheriff's Station for burglary and being held on $30,000 bail.
