A Los Angeles County Sheriff's Parks Bureau Deputy Arrests a Man for Possession of a Concealed Knife in the Park
On March 12, 2015, at 11:00 AM, a Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department Deputy from Parks Bureau observed a vehicle with an expired registration in the parking lot at Bosque Del Rio Park (Los Angeles County Park) located at 51 North San Gabriel, South El Monte, CA.
The deputy contacted the owner of the vehicle a male Hispanic adult. The suspect was identified as Robert Demetrius Medina., a male Hispanic, 41 years old, a resident of Bassett, and known gang member.
After further investigation it was revealed that the suspect had a Knife with a blade longer than 5 inches concealed under his shirt.
The suspect was arrested and booked at Temple Sheriff's Station for Possession of a Concealed Knife, with a bail of $30,000.
