Lomita Sheriff's Station Recovers Stolen Property, Seeking Victims of Vehicle Burglaries and Thefts

On February 29, 2016, Scott Blubaugh, a resident of Torrance was arrested for possessing stolen property and vehicle burglary. He is also suspected of committing several vehicle burglaries throughout the South Bay, including the cities of Rancho Palos Verdes, Torrance, Palos Verdes Estates, Manhattan Beach, and Redondo Beach.



Lomita Station detectives conducted a search of Blubaugh's vehicle at the time of his arrest and recovered numerous items suspected of being stolen. The items are described as a variety of GPS units, cameras, iPods, sunglasses, power tools, wallets and laptop computers.



Lomita Station detectives will be displaying the recovered items April 12th and 13th, between 9AM-Noon. If you have been a victim of theft from vehicles, both locked and unlocked, Lomita Station would like to re-unite you with your stolen property. Victims are asked to bring police reports, serial numbers, or other proof of ownership in order to claim their property.
