Also on hand at the dedication were Los Angeles County Supervisor Mark Ridley-Thomas; California State Assembly member Sebastian Ridley-Thomas; Department of Parks and Recreation Director John Wicker; Baldwin Hills Conservancy Executive Officer David McNeill; California State Parks District Superintendent Craig Sap; Mountain Recreation Conservatory Authority Chief Deputy Rorie Skei and Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department Parks Bureau Captain Ernest P. Chavez.



The Stocker Corridor Trail is the eastern most segment of the Park to Playa Trail, a 13-mile regional trail that connects the Baldwin Hills Parklands to the Pacific Ocean. The Stocker Corridor Trail parallels Stocker Street with immediate connections to Norman O. Houston Park and Kenneth Hahn State Recreation Area.



The Los Angeles County Sheriff's Departments Parks Bureau is dedicated to providing a safe and drug free environment at all Los Angeles County Parks.
