Thursday, February 16, 2012

A male juvenile was taken into custody for felony vandalism after a month long investigation by the Century High Impact team. A series of graffiti vandalism incidents prompted the investigation in early January and led to a member of a local tagging crew in the Florence/Firestone area.

During the investigation, a "Social Media" warrant was obtained to search the subject's social media activities. The evidence from the warrant service allowed the investigators to obtain a search warrant for the subject's residence. During the search warrant service, deputies recovered spray paint cans, magic markers, stickers, etching tools and other items used to commit the vandalism.
