2 arrested during attempted cargo theft

Cerritos Station deputies responded to a burglary in progress call at a local trucking company. When the deputies arrived, they detained two male suspects, who were walking away from a semi-truck.

A witness told the deputies the two suspects cut open the seal to a loaded cargo trailer. The suspects then broke into the attached semi-truck and attempted to steal the truck and the cargo trailer. Both suspects were arrested for attempted cargo theft and vehicle burglary.
