Los Angeles County Sheriff's Deputies Honored by the Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors for Saving a Baby's Life
On July 31, 2012 the Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors and Supervisor Michael D. Antonovich presented Los Angeles County Sheriff's Parks Bureau Deputies Joseph Chavez and Kevin Johnson commendations for their act of heroism on May 27th, 2012. Their actions resulted in saving a baby's life that otherwise would have expired without the employee's direct involvement.
