The Lost Hills Station Juvenile Intervention Team members (Sgt. Mosquera, Deputy Tamayo and Deputy Kohno) attended the United Peace Officers Against Crime (UPAC) 2012 summer camp at Idyllwild Pines, CA. 400 kids from throughout Los Angeles County were in attendance.
UPAC Camp 2012 is co-sponsored by UPAC, an organization started by the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department, their families and friends. It is a week-long summer vacation with the primary objective of encouraging and directing students towards constructive career goals by providing them with the stimulus for education and positive role models.
