Cerritos Traffic collision

08-14-12

On August 14, at 1002 hours, Cerritos deputies responded to Artesia Boulevard near the west bound 91 Freeway off ramp in response to a two vehicle collision. At the location, the deputies found a box truck had drove through a red light and collided into a passenger car. The box truck then proceeded to jump a center median curb and impaled itself on a tree. Both parties sustained moderate injuries as a result of the collision.

Cerritos station traffic investigators will handle the investigation.
