Food Services



CRDF has a staff of more than 30 dedicated and hardworking food service workers. The staff prepares approximately 8,000 meals for the inmates and employee staff each day. Of these meals, approximately 978 are individually prepared medical meals.



The facility is not the only location food services is tasked with preparing meals for. CRDF also prepares and delivers frozen meals to all Sheriff's stations throughout the County.



In addition, CRDF is the home of Cook and Chill, a procedure that allows the advanced preparation of food through the immediate chilling and storage of meals, that are reheated at a later date and time. Freshness and quality are maintained as a result of this procedure.
