The Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department Temple Station conducted a community survey to assess the community's needs and solicit their assistance in reducing crime and enhancing quality of life. One hundred deputies, explorers, and volunteers contacted over 1000 residents in the unincorporated areas of Monrovia, Arcadia, and Duarte to ask what their public safety concerns are. Survey results indicate the three most important concerns for residents are gang activity, narcotic activity and traffic enforcement.
Deputies will be conducting directed enforcement to address these concerns with the assistance of other department resources.
Temple Sheriff's Station provides law enforcement services for the cities of Bradbury, Duarte, Rosemead, South El Monte, and Temple City as well as the unincorporated areas of Arcadia, El Monte, East Pasadena, Monrovia, North San Gabriel, and South San Gabriel.
