Canines help with keeping our LA County jails safe



Canines provide a helping hand in the fight against inmates having illegal narcotics within the LA County Jail system. With their keep sense of smell, we are able to locate and confiscate pruno (a jail made alcohol), as well as various narcotics including Cocaine, Heroin, and Methamphetamine.



Why is it important that we locate and confiscate these items from the jails?



Many times Narcotics, and Pruno are the source of disturbances and other crimes within the jails. By utilizing our canines, we are able to reduce jail violence significantly which in turn keeps your family members safe.
