SHERIFF'S ADVISORY COUNCILS



Los Angeles County is one of the largest and most diverse counties in the entire Nation. The Sheriff's Department has taken great strides to truly connect with the residents of Los Angeles County and provide them with the tradition of service that we proudly proclaim.

One of the most effective ways the Department has accomplished this feat is through participation with our various advisory councils to extend our Core Values into the community as well as to bring awareness of the many services provided by the Department in an effort to enhance the quality of living to the citizens and business leaders of Los Angeles County.

Reserve Forces Bureau liaisons and oversees the Advisory Councils which consists of approximately 32 Councils and over 500 members.

Interested in Joining?

We are looking for:

* People fluent in other languages.

* People already involved in the ethnic community.

* People who are willing to facilitate the Sheriff's Department into their community.
