Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department has encapsulated the various inmate engaging activities and programs that occur within the jail facilities on Pinterest. LASD has compiled a Pinterest Board that displays inmates taking an active part in Education Based Incarceration (EBI) Bureau's Folsom Project, which partners with the Lion's Club to refurbish eyeglasses for the homeless and underprivileged around the world. LASD's Pinterest takes followers into the confines of the jail to witness inmates partaking in projects such as the Canine Project, which allows inmates to train, care, and prepare dogs for adoption. Aside from taking their followers behind jail walls, LASD provides primary examples of outside programs that enable former inmates to succeed in the work force.
