On November 12, 2013, Southern California Edison personnel conducted training for the City of Lawndale and the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department, South Los Angeles/Lawndale Service Center. Depending on the disaster/emergency, these three agencies will be amongst the first responders to assist the community. Being prepared for a disaster can assist is preventing injuries and deaths from occurring when a disaster hits.
The training was extremely informative and assists these three agencies in working together flawlessly when a disaster/emergency occurs. The City of Lawndale and the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department thanks Southern California Edison for hosting the training.
