South Los Angeles COPS Team Make Heroin Arrest

Deputies from the South Los Angeles COPS Team arrested a male suspect during a traffic stop after recovering approximately 12 ounces of black tar heroin from a hidden compartment in the passenger's side air bag.



After an interview of the suspect revealed that he had a large amount of money and a firearm at his residence, the team conducted a search of the residence with his consent. Inside they recovered approximately $25,000.00 in US currency and a .38 caliber revolver. In addition, another vehicle at the residence was searched and an ounce of black tar heroin and a digital scale were found in another hidden compartment in the passenger's front seat.
