SOUTH LOS ANGELES SHERIFF'S STATION'S WALK WITH THE CAPTAIN

On July 26, 2014, members of the community and Sheriff Department employees joined South LA Station's Captain Ronald Williams and Parks Bureau Captain Holly Perez on a "Walk with the Captain" event. The walk is intended as part of a wellness program giving the local community access to South Los Angeles Station's unit commander. Captain Williams gave a talk and fielded questions from the participants. This walk took place at Jesse Owens Park. Future walks will rotate to other districts patrolled by South Los Angeles Sheriff's Station.
