Volunteers Complete Volunteers on Patrol Training
LASD Sheriff Jim McDonnell congratulated the efforts of 34 Volunteers who graduated from their Volunteers on Patrol training. Three West Hollywood Sheriff Station Volunteers were among those to successfully completed their nine courses. Subject matter included radio training, emergency vehicle operations, officer safety, first aid and ethics.
West Hollywood Station Captain Honings and Sergeant Klaus attended the graduation ceremony and applauded the course completion by the three West Hollywood Station Volunteers. "The fact that our Volunteers work for free and give their time so willingly to our station and the West Hollywood community, speaks volumes about their character and love of our city," said Captain Honings.
