The Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department (LASD) is now hiring for the position of Deputy Sheriff Trainee!



The LASD application, background, and hiring process has been modified to find and hire the best candidates as quickly as possible. There are currently hundreds of open positions, and LASD intends to hire at least 600 deputies this year.



Job Requirements:



- 19 1/2 years of age



- U.S. High School Diploma or G.E.D.



- U.S. Citizen or permanent aliens who are eligible and have applied for citizenship



- A valid driver license
