Burglary Suspect Arrested 10/16/15

A Lawndale patrol deputy stops a suspicious person moments after he allegedly burglarized a vehicle in the 4400 block of 159th Street, Lawndale.

The deputy saw a vehicle burglary suspect standing near a vehicle acting suspiciously. On the ground was a wallet belonging to the vehicle burglary victim. The deputy contacted the victim who pointed out her vehicle had just been burglarized. She identified her wallet and several other stolen items that were recovered nearby.

Further investigation connected the suspect to the burglary that just occurred. The 21 year old male from Los Angeles was placed under arrest for vehicle burglary.
