Helping Lost Woman 04/19/16

A good samaritan saw this woman walking near Prairie Avenue and Marine Avenue in the city of Hawthorne. The woman looked like she was lost, so the good samaritan asked her if she wanted a ride to the Sheriff's Station. The lost woman was brought to the Lawndale Service Center and given a bottle of water. The deputies learned that the woman was visiting family members in the city of Lawndale. She went for a walk and forgot where her family lived. After doing some computer work based on the information the woman provided, the detective was able to locate the woman's family. Deputies drove her back to her family's residence. The family was extremely pleased that the woman was safe. (Photo: Lt. Hocking)
