Training in law enforcement is very important to ensure deputy personnel know how to handle situations they may encounter while working patrol. South Los Angeles Station training personnel conducted a training session for the deputies. The training consisted of the use of less lethal weapons (guns that shoot rubber bullets), foot pursuits, boxing, wrestling and shooting their firearms. Experience has shown the better trained a deputy is the better they will perform in patrol. Photos: Sgt. Healey
