The Walnut / Diamond Bar Sheriff's Station would like to remind the residents of Walnut that vehicle burglaries occur everywhere in California. When you are out shopping, going to the gym (there is a new 24hr Fitness in Walnut), or getting something to eat, please remember to lock your vehicle! Check your surroundings. Most importantly, please do not leave valuables in your vehicles (IE: purses, wallets, jewelry, computers, cell phones, etc.) We can not control a burglar's desire or ability to commit a crime, but we CAN help limit their opportunity to commit it.
