West Hollywood - Universal City Deputies Arrest "Top Ten Active Warrants" Suspect



In March, 2012, the Santa Barbara Sheriff's Department placed information about fugitive Jerrell Yearego on the "Top Ten Active Warrants" section of their website. Yearego had warrants totaling $300,000 for assorted violations related to false impersonation and fraud.



Despite the Santa Barbara Sheriff's Department receiving numerous tips, this suspect regularly eluded law enforcement. An anonymous source advised SBDO that fugitive Jerrell Yearego was staying at the Universal City Hilton hotel.



On June 27th, personnel at the Los Angeles Sheriff's Department Universal City substation were advised of this suspect's location and they arrested Yearego in his hotel room. He was booked at the Los Angeles County Jail on his two warrants. He will be transported to Santa Barbara County's Jail.
