On Sunday February 17, 2013, the South Los Angeles Sheriff's Station Clergy Council, in conjunction with the West Athens Community Task Force, will be dedicating a planter to the South Los Angeles Sheriff's Station. The planter will be displayed in the main foyer of the station in recognition of the hard work and sacrifices made every day by deputies and support staff, as well as to recognize the station's partnership with the Clergy Council and the West Athens Community Task Force to build a healthy and thriving community.
The dedication ceremony will begin at 2:00 PM in front of the South Los Angeles Sheriff's Station located at 1310 W. Imperial Hwy. Los Angeles, Ca. 90065, and is open to the public.
