As you now know there have been multiple terrorist attacks in Paris that appear to have been coordinated. We join all Americans in offering our thoughts and prayers to the victims and their families. The FBI reports that there are no known related threats to the continental United States. However, I have directed my deputies to patrol with a heightened sense of awareness. We are also asking our citizens to be aware of their surroundings and to report suspicious activity to Marina del Rey Sheriff's Station or your local Police.

Even if only a few people are affected, if it's you, it's 100%. Instead of ignoring these facts and hoping for the best, take action now to help yourself and the people you love.
