Mounted Enforcement Deputies arrest two men for strong armed robbery at Colonel Leon H. Washington Park in Los Angeles (Photos) On May 22, 2013, Los Angeles County Sheriff's Deputies from Parks Bureau Mounted Enforcement Detail where conducting mounted patrol at Colonel Leon H. Washington Park. While in the park they heard a person screaming, "they stole my cell phone" and observed that person a male adult running from three other male adults. The three male suspects started to run away from the deputies on horseback. The deputies detained and identified two of the suspects as Tony Evans, a male, adult, and Darnell Louis Riley, a male, adult, both who are residents of Los Angeles. The third suspect ran out of sight and they were unable to locate him. After further investigation it was determined that the two suspects Evans and Riley had robbed the victim of his cell phone which was recovered at the scene. Suspects Evans and Riley where booked at Century Regional Detention Facility for strong armed robbery and are being held in lieu of a $40,000.00 bail. Colonel Leon H.
