Sexual Battery Suspect Arrested by Los Angeles County Sheriff's Parks Bureau Deputies at Franklin D. Roosevelt Park, 7600 Graham Avenue Los Angeles

On August 16, 2013, Los Angeles County Sheriff's Parks Bureau Deputies were providing security at Franklin D. Roosevelt Park Pool when a female adult ran up to them and said she had just been inappropriately touch in her genital area by male adult. While talking to the deputies the victim saw the suspect and pointed him out to them.

The deputies immediately approached the suspect and he ran. The deputies caught the suspect a few minutes later when he ran into a local business.

After further investigation the suspect was identified as Hermes Escobar a male Hispanic adult who resides in Huntington Park.

The suspect was booked at Century Station for Sexual Battery and held on a $20,000 bail.

The Los Angeles County Sheriff's Departments Parks Bureau is dedicated to providing a safe and drug free environment at all Los Angeles County Parks.
