Man Flying a Kite into Air Traffic Space
On Sunday, April 29, 2012, at 5:20 pm Los Angeles County Sheriff's deputies from Parks Bureau, received a call of a person flying a kite at Frank G. Bonelli Park in San Dimas into the air traffic space from Brackett Field.
A male adult who was flying a kite was contacted on the North side of Bonelli Park, in an area that has signs posted "No Kite Flying." He told the deputies he did not see the signs. He was warned and advised regarding flying a kite into air traffic space. The man complied and left the area.
Frank G. Bonelli Park is located at 120 Va Verde San Dimas, CA 91773. Brackett Field Airport is located at 1615 McKinley Ave La Verne, CA 91750.
