Joint COPS Team and DEA Search Warrant Yields Narcotics and Firearms Seizure

A COPS (Community Oriented Policing Services) team based in the Sheriff's Industry Station area assisted the DEA (Drug Enforcement Agency) in the service of a search warrant at 114 Backton Ave., in the city of La Puente. The service resulted in the arrest of Fidel Medina for possession of heroin and several firearms including; several semi-automatic pistols, rifles, a revolver and two shotguns.
