Parks Bureau Deputy arrested a person for felony vandalism of Belvedere Park, Los Angeles (Photos) On December 12, 2013, a Parks Bureau Special Problems Team Deputy from the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department arrested Rene Verduzco Ambriz, male, 18 years-of-age, who resides in Los Angeles for felony vandalism. While the deputy was inside his office at Belvedere Park, he heard a scratching noise coming from his office window. He looked out the window and saw Mr. Ambriz standing in front of the window holding something in his hand. When the deputy went outside, he observed fresh etching in the glass of the window. The deputy's investigation revealed Suspect Ambriz is part of a tagging crew and had etched the window using a drill bit causing over $600.00 worth of damage The suspect was subsequently booked at the East Los Angeles Sheriff Station where he is being held on a bail of $20,000. Belvedere Park is located at 4914 e. Cesar Chavez Avenue Los Angeles.
