Lancaster Crime Suppression Unit Makes Burglary Arrest During Traffic Stop

Deputies assigned to the Lancaster CSU (Crime Suppression Unit) conducted a traffic stop on a cold plated Toyota Prius. A check of the VIN showed the vehicle stolen out of Portland Oregon as of 12/18/2013. A male "A.V. White Power" gang member was arrested for the vehicle theft, possession 5 ounces of methamphetamine in liquid form, possession of a methamphetamine pipe, possession of hash, possession of a dagger and receiving stolen property (possession of over 30 pieces of stolen "Dewalt" and "Milwaukee" new power/construction tools and stolen rolls of copper wire).



The driver of the vehicle, a female adult, was also arrested for the vehicle theft, possession of an 8 ball of crystal methamphetamine, possession drug paraphernalia, driving on a suspended license and driving under the influence of drugs.



UPDATE: Per Lancaster Station Detective Bureau, all the above charges were filed by the Los Angeles County District Attorney's Office at the Antelope Valley Courthouse, on both suspects. Both suspects remain in custody.



A Burglary victim of a storage container in the City of Lancaster has identified all of the tools located inside vehicle. The male adult was additionally charged with Commercial Burglary.
