LASD Parks Bureau Deputies, LA Rotary, and Parks and Recreation help kids go to Disneyland.

The Rotary Club of Los Angeles, provided Disneyland tickets free of charge to children that would most likely never have the opportunity to go due to the cost. Personnel from the Los Angeles County Sheriff Department's Parks Bureau and the Los Angeles County Department of Parks and Recreation selected a total of 144 children. The children who were selected had participated in, or attended events such as radKIDS, Be Brave, BEAR, Stars on the North Pole, Parks After Dark Basketball, Kickball games and a Ford Theatre Trip that were held by the Sheriff's Department Parks Bureau and Parks and Recreations personnel. The Parks where the children attended those events were Franklin D. Roosevelt Park, 7600 Graham Ave, Los Angeles; Mona Park, 2291 E 121st St, Compton; Jackie Robinson Park, 8773 East Avenue R , Littlerock; William Steinmetz Park, 1545 S Stimson Av, Hacienda Heights 9 and Sorensen Park, 11419 Rosehedge Dr, Whittier.
The groups arrived at Disneyland on February 2, 2014 at 9:30am chaperoned by personnel from all three groups involved .
