Location: 900 Block of Fraser Avenue, East Los Angeles (Unincorporated)

Victims Cuevas and Omaro were shot while standing in front of the location. Deputies responded to the location regarding an "assault with a deadly weapon" call. Upon their arrival, they discovered the victims. The victims were standing in front of Victim Cuevas' house when the suspect excited his vehicle and approached them. The suspect asked them if they were from "Winter Gardens" and when they replied no, the suspect shot them, then ran back to his vehicle and sped away. Victim Cuevas sustained gunshot wounds. He was transported to the hospital where he was pronounced dead. Victim Omaro sustained a gunshot wound. He was transported to the hospital where he was listed in stable condition. Victim Andrade was not injured.
