Parks Bureau deputies assigned to the North Zone Special Problems Team received information that a male black adult and a female Hispanic adult were selling narcotics near William S. Hart Regional Park (24151 Newhall Avenue, Newhall)
The teams investigation led them to Waymond D. Moore, male, black, 29 years of age, a resident of Sylmar, at an apartment in Valencia, near the park. When the uniformed deputy sheriffs approached Mr. Moore in the common hallway of the apartment complex, he pushed a deputy and ran toward his apartment. The deputies detained him as he opened the door to his apartment; The deputies then made contact with the other suspect, Michelle Lee Patron, female, Hispanic, 40 years of age, who resides at the apartment. They found that Patron was on formal probation.
After further investigation the deputies discovered a large amount of Methamphetamine, a digital scale, and stolen a;Yamaha; CD player.;The deputies also discovered a stolen vehicle that was being used by the suspects.
Michelle Lee Patron was arrested for, Motor Vehicle Theft, Possession of a Methamphetamine for Sales, Probation Violation and Receiving Stolen Property. She was booked at Santa Clarita Sheriff Station where he is being held in lieu of $35,000.00.
Waymond D. Moore was arrested for, Motor Vehicle Theft, Possession of a Methamphetamine for Sales, Petty Theft and Battery on a Peace Officer. He was booked at Santa Clarita Sheriff Station where he is being held in lieu of $35,000.00.
