Location: 4700 Block Whittier Boulevard, Los Angeles (Unincorporated)

Victims Perez and Quintero were shot while standing in line at a food truck. Deputies responded to the location regarding a "gunshot victim" call. Upon their arrival, they learned that a man walked up and opened fire on the victims, then left on foot in an unknown direction. Victim Perez sustained gunshot wounds. He was transported to the hospital where he later died.
