Location: 22100 Block Arline Street, Hawaiian Gardens
On March 18, 2004, Victim Arce was shot by the suspect. He was transported to a local hospital where he was treated. Victim Arce survived his injuries, but as a result of the gunshot wound, he was rendered a quadriplegic. He was ultimately placed in a long-term care facility, and passed away at a hospital on August 7, 2014. An autopsy was conducted and the Coroner opined that Victim Arce died as a result of complications caused by the gunshot wound and his death was ruled a homicide.
