Active Shooter Training

On Tuesday, April 7, 2015, Cerritos Sheriff's Station and the Los Angeles County Fire Department conducted an active shooter response drill at Cerritos High School. The event involved administrators, teachers, students and parents from Cerritos High School. In addition, Cerritos Station Volunteers and members of the Cerritos Station Clergy Council also participated.



The training was closed to the public and simulated a shooting at the high school where deputies and the fire personnel responded and took simulated action. The training incorporated gunfire and explosions. There was also be simulated injuries to role players at the school.
