LASD Lomita Station Investigating Brutal Beating of San Pedro Teen

Detectives from Lomita Sheriff's Station are investigating the brutal beating of a 15 year old in San Pedro on March 30, 2017. Shortly after 10 pm, Evan Jimenez, a star baseball player from San Pedro High School, was confronted by two males in an alley near the 900 block of west 2nd Street, in the unincorporated area of San Pedro. He was severely beaten with a bottle and was later dropped off at Little Company of Mary Hospital in San Pedro.



He is currently being treated at Harbor UCLA Medical Center in Carson, where he was last listed in "Serious but Stable" condition. Lomita Station detectives are following up on several leads and are working to identify the two suspects.
