INFORMATION BULLETIN:
Robbery & Attempt Rape Suspect
The incident occurred on Thursday, March 29th at 8:15 a.m. in the 18000 Block of Sundowner Way, Canyon Country. The victim arrived at her condominium, parked her vehicle in the garage and exited. The victim encountered the suspect in an exterior hallway adjacent to the garage.
The suspect assaulted her and sexually battered her. Throughout the incident the suspect strangled the victim. A rape did not occur. When the victim fought back the suspect stole the victim's purse and its contents. He then fled the location through the condominium complex and out of view.
The suspect was seen in the area moments before this Robbery/Assault exposing himself to a second identified victim. The first offense was not reported until after the Robbery/Assault occurred.
Suspect is described as a male Hispanic, 25-30 years old
5'10" 180 lbs., red shirt, black jacket, black shorts, red beanie.
