Deputies from South Los Angeles Sheriff's Station/Lawndale Service Center were called to Leuzinger High School in the City of Lawndale regarding Teacher's Aid Juan Carlos Gutierrez molesting a student.
Deputies discovered on May 7, 2013, the suspect accompanied a 16 year old, mentally challenged student, into a stairwell at the school where he fondled her over her clothing. The deputy checked the school's surveillance camera system and discovered that the incident was captured on surveillance video. The deputy wrote a crime report documenting the incident.
Detectives from Special Victim's Bureau continued the investigation and arrested Mr. Gutierrez on a warrant for three misdemeanor counts of Annoying or Molesting a Child 647.6 P.C. after the case was filed with the LA County District Attorney's Office.
