Parole Compliance Team Recovers Numerous Firearms During Compliance Check

The Parole Compliance Team conducted a parole compliance check in the city of Whittier for an active A.B. 109, Post Release Community Supervised person on parole for grand theft auto.

A knock and notice was conducted at the location. The suspect and his father were at the location. After a conversation with both, it was determined the father had several riles and handguns at the location within easy access to his son who was parole. A search of the location produced 12 rifles, 2 handguns and 1 shotgun. PCT Deputies also found 2 boxes of ammunition for some of the weapons discovered.

The son was arrested and booked for being an ex-felon in possession of firearms and ammunition.
