Battle of the Badges Blood Drive

On January 2, 2014, Cerritos Station personnel donated blood to the American Red Cross in a "Battle of the Badges" with the Los Angeles County Fire Department. There was a significant turnout of donors and everyone involved should be commended for their participation in making a difference. It is just another example of Public Safety seeking ways to help the community.



The Battle of the Badges began in 2007 in Southern California as an opportunity for badge carrying personnel to positively impact our community by competing in a friendly blood drive competition. In six short years, the program has grown extraordinarily into what has become the nation's largest and most successful law-enforcement blood drive.
