Lomita Station Recognizes Personnel



Lomita Station Sergeant Stan Baillif was recognized for achieving his thirty year service award at the Lomita Station annual holiday party. Sergeant Baillif has served on the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department since 1983. Upon completing the academy he was assigned to work at Men's Central Jail and then to patrol at Carson Station. In 1998 he was promoted to Sergeant and has been a part of the Lomita Station family since 1999. We congratulate Sergeant Baillif on this significant milestone!



The following awards were also handed out during our holiday party: Deputy Steve Capra was named Deputy of the Year; Deputy Lamont Dobbins Jr. was recognized as Rookie of the Year; Detective Jim Dondis was given the award for Detective of the Year; Deputy Allen Cromer was named Reserve of the Year; and our Professional Staff of the Year award was given to both Jennifer Atenza and Latifa Jackson. All of those recognized for their contributions to the station are outstanding examples of the men and women we have at Lomita Station that work to help keep our communities safe.
