Gun Buyback Event 6/14/14

Gun Buyback Supervisor Mark Ridley-Thomas, Second District, in conjunction with the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department, South Los Angeles Station, will be hosting a "Gifts for Guns" Gun Buyback event. The event is aimed at reducing the level of gun violence and making our communities safe.



You are invited to anonymously turn in your unwanted firearms.



In exchange for a gun, individuals will receive Food 4 Less or Target gift cards.



$200 for an assault weapon



$100 for a handgun



$50 for an inoperable weapon



*While supplies last



No questions asked and no strings attached.



Sheriff's Department personnel will be on site to determine the type of classification of the firearm surrendered.
