The 2014 AIDS Walk event brought approximately 20,000 participants into West Hollywood today. As the participants walk the 6.2 mile route, 50 LASD personnel secure the West Hollywood portion and keep walkers safe.
Deputies staff traffic posts out on the route, and personnel inside the station's Emergency Operations Center coordinate with LA County Fire personnel for medical response if needed.
