2012 CHRISTMAS BASKET AND TOY GIVE-A-WAY



The East Los Angeles Sheriff Station will conduct our annual Christmas Food Basket and Toy Gift Giveaway on December 22, 2012, 10:00am to 5:00pm. The event will be conducted at the East Los Angeles Community Service Center, 133 North Sunol Drive, Los Angeles, CA 90022. This event is provided by contributions from the East Los Angeles Sheriff Station and community businesses. This event is free to the community.



The Christmas Basket give away is a program designed to help needy families during the Christmas Holiday. East Los Angeles Station provides approximately 500 families with a food basket and toys for all the children in that family. The families are chosen through an application process which is provided by non-profit organizations like Bienvenidos and AltaMed. The applications can be picked up at those locations. The food baskets are donated by Dovetail Ministries in Montebello.
