East LA Sheriff's Holiday Celebration to benefit AbilityFirst Children

On Thursday, December 18th 2014 East Los Angeles Station will aid Ability First with their holiday celebration. This is an annual event hosted for children and adults with disabilities that participate in Ability First programs.



AbilityFirst, formerly Crippled Children Society, provides programs and services to help people with disabilities reach their full potential. Through 24 locations across Southern California, they offer a broad range of employment, recreational and socialization programs and operate 12 accessible residential housing complexes. Government support provides approximately half of the dollars AbilityFirst needs to deliver high quality programs and services. As a nonprofit organization, they rely heavily on the generous support of donors who share their vision. http://www.abilityfirst.org/



Toys and gifts will be presented to the Ability First participants that are donated by LASD and local community businesses.
