Injury and Health Support Unit Mission Statement



The Injury and Health Support Unit (IHSU) works to effectively support our personnel and manage financial resources through a proactive return to work program, all the while maintaining a compassionate perspective when working with our employees and their families.

This includes:

Treating our valued employees and their families with compassion, dignity and respect;

Ensuring efficient processing and fair resolution of claims, while promoting a timely return to work;

Providing support, assistance, and impartial advice regarding Workers' Compensation to our injured or ill employees as well as executives, managers, and supervisory personnel;

Providing support and assistance to families in the event of serious injury, illness or death;

Partnering with medical management organizations, health care networks, medical facilities, retirement boards, insurance providers, attorneys and other Workers' Compensation parties to facilitate the efficient processing and fair resolution of industrial injury claims.
